This is the multimedia companion to the printed general science textbook. This contains all of the multimedia add-ons that can be found on the Exploring Creation With General Science CD-ROM, but excludes the text of the course. This is the perfect thing for those who want to use a printed textbook but are interested in the extras that can be found on the CD-ROM. The videos and animations are viewed using Microsoft Internet Explorer. Like the CD courses, however, this CD does not use the Internet. The Microsoft Internet Explorer is simply used as the user interface because it is easy to use and familiar to most students. Requires a PC computer with sound card, speakers, and a printer, running Windows 98 or higher Requires the Internet Explorer and Windows Media Player installed with your operating system. Although technical support is not available for Macintosh computers, the CDs are fully tested and do run on Macintosh computers running OSX or Virtual PC 5.0 or higher.
