A Child`s History of the World CD-ROM is an interactive multimedia history program appropriate for ages 9 and up. World history is brought to life through 91 short and entertaining stories based on events from the early times to the present, told in a warm, easy-to-understand manner. There may occasionally be an idea which you do not agree with (such as evolution)--just skip or use as a topic for discussion. The stories include text, original art, original music, and opportunities for student interaction. Stories are followed by review questions and games that are scored by the computer. The CD-ROM program enhances the text with hundreds of illustrations and pronunciations of many unfamiliar names and words.
